in a collision between as many trucks near a village on NH-31 under Bena police station area in Bihar's Nalanda district, a police officer said.
The mishap took place near Dhanaul village as two trucks collided head-on with each other apparently after the drivers felt to sight the other vehicle, the Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Shams Afroz said.
The drivers of the two trucks Krishna Rai, a resident of Patna district, and Md. Javed, native of Uttar Pradesh, died on the spot, he said.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem, Afroz said.
While one truck was speeding towards Biharsharif after unloading stone chips at Bakhtiyarpur, the other truck carrying iron steel was going to Odisha, the DSP said.
