TTML Q3 net loss narrows down to Rs 79.64 crore

Tata Teleservices (Maharashtra) Limited (TTML) today reported narrowing down of its net loss at Rs 79.64 crore for the quarter ended December 2015.
The company had reported a net loss of Rs 169.08 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal, it said in a BSE filing.
Total income from operations of the company increased to Rs 741.88 crore for the reported period as compared to Rs 738.56 crore last year.
The company attributed improvement in profitability to several operational initiatives as well as reduction in interconnect usage charges.
TTML offers services in Maharashtra, including Mumbai and Goa.
Meanwhile, company's Chief Financial Officer Harish Abichandani has resigned with effect from February 10.
"Harish Abichandani has tendered resignation as Chief Financial Officer of the company with effect from close of business hours on February 10, 2016, and the same was noted by the Audit Committee and Board of Directors of the company in their respective meetings held February 04, 2016," TTML said in a separate BSE filing.
