It had sold 2,14,324 units during the same month last year, city-based TVS Motor said in a statement.
Total two-wheeler sales in July registered 2,08,044 units from 2,05,360 units sold during same month of last year.
Sales of two-wheelers in domestic market recorded marginal increase to 1,75,803 units, as against 1,74,099 units sold during same month of last year.
Scooter sales in July 2015 grew by 10 per cent to 69,626 units from 63,250 units sold in July 2014. Motorcycle sales however declined by four per cent in July 2015 to 77,397 units from 80,658 units sold during the year ago period.
On exports front, the company recorded a 15.3 per cent increase in July to 42,677 units from 36,986 units shipped during same month of last year.
Two-wheeler exports grew by 14.8 per cent to 33,945 units in July 2015 from 29,557 units sold in July 2014.
