Two booked in an elopement case

Two persons have been booked in a case here in which a married woman allegedly eloped with a man, police said today.
Her husband Mahesh, a resident of SGM Nagar, lodged the complaint against the duo -- Gangandeep resident of Punjab and Naveen, a resident of SGM Nagar -- accusing them of kidnapping his wife on the pretext of marrying her, they said, adding the woman was accompanied by her daughter during the elopement.
A case has been registered and the investigation has begun into the case, police said.
