Two chain snatchers arrested

With the arrest of two persons police today claimed to have solved 18 cases of snatching and burglaries in the city.
Amit alias Amul (21), a resident of Mehrauli and Sajid Ali (24) who hails from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh were arrested, said police.
On a tip off, trap was laid in Vasant Vihar area and Amul was arrested late night on December 22 when he was going to his rented house in Kishangarh. Five laptops, a data card and 11 mobile phones were seized from his house.
Meanwhile, Ali was arrested in a similar manner from Munirka when he was waiting for a target, police said, adding four mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
