Two children drown in tank as they went to take bath

Two children, aged seven and nine, who went to take bath in a tank drowned today at a village near Vadipatti, about 30 km from here, police said.
Raghavan and his cousin sister Sarulatha along with his sister were coming back this afternoon after giving tea to their grand father who was grazing cattle, they said.
While Ragavan and sarulatha went to take bath in the tank, his sister was on the shore. As Ragavan and Sarulatha did not return, she shouted for help.
A passerby tried to save them. The bodies were retrieved, police said.
