Two drug smugglers held

smuggling of narcotic substances, were arrested in Kannauj district, police said here today.

Acting on a tip-off, Mohammad Meraj and Akhilesh were arrested yesterday and 75 kg narcotic substances worth about Rs 50 lakh was recovered from their possession.

Further probes are on into the case, they added.
