The two, Sandeep Shalik Sakharkar (27) and Sandeep Ramesh Pardhi (26), are posted at Mukutben forest range in Wani tehsil of Yavatmal district.
They were trapped by a team of Anti-Corruption Bureau after the farmer, Balaji Deorao Nandekar (39), a resident of village Heti in Chandrapur district, lodged a complaint.
Nandekar had removed stones from his farm and ferried them in a tractor without permission of the Forest Department.
The Guards demanded Rs 10,000 as bribe from Nandekar for not seizing his tractor. The farmer approached the ACB, Yavatmal which laid a trap and caught the duo while accepting the bribe, they added.
