Two girls drown in water tank

Two girls got drowned in a water tank in Ramireddypalem village under Santamaguluru mandal, around 80 kms from here this evening, police said.
The victims identified as Prameela (6) and Aswani (9) fell in the ground-level water tank, when they had gone to answer nature's call, Santhamaguluru Sub Inspector of Police, M Raghava Reddy, said.
A case has been registered in this connection and further investigation is on, he said.
