A man along with his brother has
been arrested while dumping the dead body of his wife here, in an alleged incident of dowry death, police said today.
Vijendra Singh, husband of the deceased woman and his brother Rajendra Singh, were arrested yesterday by the Tanda city police while the duo was looking for a safe place to dump the dead body, SP Sadhna Goswami said.
The accused husband, who works as a teacher, had been demanding an Alto car and Rs 1 lakh as dowry and killed her by giving poison to her after his demands were not met, she said.
Probe is on in the matter, added Goswami.
