arrested today for allegedly committing a robbery of Rs 19,600 at a petrol pump here two days back, police said.
"Yash Vinayak (21) and Karan (20), both students of a local college, allegedly committed the crime to fulfil their luxurious needs and for the sake of enjoyment," said SP (East) OP Tripathi.
He said the duo allegedly snatched Rs 19,600 from cashier of the petrol pump in Vijay Nagar area on December 17.
"They were caught on a tip-off and have admitted to committing the crime," the SP said, adding that they have also confessed to looting Rs 10,000 from another petrol pump on Jawahar Marg on December 9.
