"According to a government order issued by the School Education Department, all the government institutions including recognized private schools up to Higher Secondary level falling in summer zone areas of Jammu Division shall observe winter vacation with effect from December 26, 2014, to January 3, 2015," an official spokesman said
He said that action as per rules would be taken against any private school that violates the government order.
