Two labourers working at an under construction building in Uttar Pradesh's Ballia district died due to an electric shock on Wednesday, police said.

Munna Gaur (40) and Ramji Dhannu (22) were carrying out construction work of a building when the beam they were holding in their hands touched an overhead high tension wire, police said.

Both fell into a pit and died on the spot, they said, adding that the bodies were sent for postmortem.
