The accused, identified as Khalid and Salman, were wanted in several vehicle-theft cases.
Police said that they got information that two wanted vehicle lifters were coming towards Nahali area last night.
"Acting on the tip-off, police laid a trap and arrested the duo from there. The accused told the police that they would steal bikes and cars from Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad and sell them in Meerut and Hapur districts by removing their registration plates," said a senior police officer.
