Two minors raped; four arrested

Two minor girls were allegedly raped by four persons in Dhoram village in Gharghoda area here when they were returning home after visiting a local fair, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday after the girls, who were accompanied by their cousin brothers, were stopped by the four men, said Superintendent of Police, Raigarh, Rahul Bhagat today.
The accused allegedly manhandled the cousins and then raped the girls following which the fled from the spot, he said.
The victims later informed their parents and a case was filed with the local police.
The accused identified as Rajendra Nishad (23), Mukesh Behra (31), Karam Lal Rathiya (26) and Raju Shah were subsequently arrested and produced before a local court today, he said.

All the accused have been sent to 14-day judicial custody by the court, added Bhagat.
