While Basil Koshy Sajeev from Ernakulam district topped the list with 954.89 marks, Arun Ashokan (Ernakulam) and Abid Ali Khan (Pathanamthitta) bagged second and third ranks with 950 and 949.89 marks.
Besides, ranks secured by candidates in the engineering entrance examination were also released. The list will be published next month after standardisation of the ranks.
Announcing the medical entrance exam results, Education Minister P K Abdu Rabb said 83,460 of the total of 93,897 candidates who appeared for the exam qualified.
