Two more held in RSS worker murder case

Two more persons were arrested in connection with the recent killing of a RSS functionary in the district, police said today.
The duo, identified as Jithin V and Sathyan P, surrendered today before Payyanur Circle Inspector M B Azad and were arrested under IPC section 302 (murder), police said.
With their arrest, four persons have been arrested in the killing of RSS worker Choorakkad Biju at Payyanur on May 12.
Three more persons wanted in connection with the case are still at large, police said, adding, they could not confirm reports about the escape of one of them to a foreign country.

Two local CPI-M workers were arrested earlier in the case.
Biju was allegedly hacked to death when he was returning home with his friend at Muttam bridge.
