Two of family die in suspected suicide pact

A 21-year-old woman and her toddler daughter died in a suspected suicide pact at Milanpalli village here, police said today.
Rajeswarai and her husband Gautham, 24, allegedly gave poison to their two-year-old daughter before consuming it themselves last night, they said.
While the woman and the child were found dead this morning, Gautham, a painter, has been admitted to hospital in a serious condition, police said.
Family dispute is stated to be the reason behind their extreme step, they said.
