Two persons killed in accidents

Two persons have been killed in separate accidents in Aizawl, the police said today.
A bus driver was killed when the bus met with an accident at Thuampui locality yesterday, the police said.
The accident took place when the bus, which had already been parked, began to move and the driver Rosangzuala (31) jumped inside the vehicle which suddenly overturned and crushed him to death.
In another incident, a pillion rider of a scooty, Zonunsanga (21) died of head injury when the scooty and a truck collided at Mission Veng area last night.
Both the truck driver and the scooty driver were arrested but the 17-year-old scooty driver was later released.
