Two shot dead in separate incidents

Two persons were allegedly shot dead in separate incidents in the district, police said today.
Muhammad Shabbeer(35) was killed by some unidentified miscreants last evening when he had gone to buy vegetables from the market, they said.
Around dozen of criminal cases have been registered against the deceased, police said.
Prima facie, it appeared that old enmity could be the reason behind the incident.
In a separate incident, a person was shot dead by some robbers when he tried to stop them from escaping after looting a house, they said.
Kapil, a resident of Arnawali area in the district, was shot at by the accused yesterday, leading to his death on the spot.

Further investigations into both the matters are underway, police added.
