The sisters Mayawati (20) and Moni (14) were crushed to death by the vehicle when they were going to a nearby field from their house yesterday, they said, adding that the girls died on the spot.
The loader driver managed to flee the spot with the vehicle, they added.
Agitated over the incident, locals jammed the road with the bodies of the girls. The crowd dispersed only after senior officials of the police and administration spoke to them.
