Two sisters die after bus runs over them

Two sisters were crushed to death today when a bus of a private transport company owned by an individual close to ruling Akali Dal leadership hit a two- wheeler they were riding near Jagraon, some 30 km from here, police said.
The sisters were travelling to Ludhiana on the motorbike with a relative.
The victims have been identified as Sneha (10) and Sarvikki (12), police said.
Immediately after the accident, people gheraoed the bus and pelted it with stones, they said.
Demanding the arrest of the driver, the mob sat on the road and blocked traffic for more than an hour.
Police said the driver was arrested under section 302 of the IPC (punishment for murder).
