Two woman constables nab youths who misbehaved with them

Two woman constables here bravely nabbed two youths who allegedly misbehaved with them in the Kavi Nagar area here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday when the two youths teased the constables and even blocked their way. They also allegedly passed lewd comments at the constables, they said.
The constables then took on the youths and nabbed one of them on the spot. The youth was identified as Arif.
The other youth, who managed to flee the spot, was nabbed later. He was identified as Rashid.
Appreciating the bravery shown by the constables, SSP Dharmendra Singh today rewarded them with Rs 1,000 each, they said.
