Unable to pay loan, farmer kills self in UP

A 45-year-old farmer allegedly committed suicide due to his inability to repay his agriculture loan, police said today.
Jang Bahadur Singh hanged himself yesterday at his house in Ghazipur village under Pailani Tehsil here after he was unable to repay the loan of Rs 2.5 lakh he had taken for agriculture, Inspector K P Singh.
His body was handed over to his family after post-mortem, police said adding an investigation has been launched following an order by District Magistrate Saroj Kumar.
