UP: 2 boys drown while taking bath in pond
Two boys drowned while taking bath in a pond here, police said Thursday.
The incident took place in Saruva Mishrapur on Wednesday evening when two brothers went to the pond for taking bath, according to the Circle Officer of Raniganj, Ramesh Chandra.
"Both Neeraj (12) and Ankit (8) ventured deep into the water body and drowned. Later, the bodies of the boys were taken out and sent for postmortem," Chandra said.
