Narai Rai has been given Science and Technology department, an official release issued here said.
Ravidas Malhotra was given Mother and Child Welfare department while Sharda Pratap Shukla was allocated Higher Education department, it added.
Besides them, Akhilesh also gave additional charge of some departments currently with him to some ministers.
Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Ram Karan Arya has been given additional charge of Excise department while Textile Minister Mehboob Ali has been given additional charge of Professional Education and Skill development departments.
Akhilesh had reshuffled his cabinet on June 27 for the seventh time before the Assembly polls scheduled in 2017.
