UP: Youth beaten to death by six at marriage function

A youth was beaten to death allegedly by six persons following an altercation over a request to change the music at a marriage function here, police said today.
The incident happened last night when the accused Manoj wanted the DJ to change the music at the function, whereas victim Sachin wanted the same song to continue that led into an altercation between them, Assistant Superintendent of Police (Rural) Jagdish Sharma said.
A fight broke out during which Manoj called five other persons and attacked Sachin, he said.
One of the accused hit Sachin on his head with an iron rod after which he fell unconscious. He was taken to the hospital where he was declared brought dead, Sharma said.

An FIR has been registered against all the accused and efforts are on to nab them, he said.
