The minor, a student of Class XI, was found hanging from an iron loop on the ceiling of his room yesterday evening, they said.
According to the family members, the boy after returning from his coaching centre last evening went to his room and hanged himself.
The minor was depressed since his bicycle was stolen two days back, police said.
