The incident happened last night when driver Sanjay took out his garment-laden van from Sahibabad to the factory at Greater Noida.
When he reached in Surajpur area, some armed men robbed the van and also took Sanjay's mobile phone and fled, they said, adding the driver somehow reached the main road and informed his owner Jai Prakash who reported about the robbery to police.
An FIR was lodged at Surajpur police station today, police said.
A manhunt was launched to trace the robbers, but they were still untraceable, they said.
