Vietnam delegation meets Gujarat CM

A 13-member delegation from Vietnam today met Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel at Gandhinagar to explore avenues of bilateral trade between their country and Gujarat.
The delegation was led by Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province Nguyen Dinh Xung, said an official press release.
The delegation also showed keen interest in understanding the best practices of the Gujarat government in developing various sectors, such as petro-chemicals and infrastructure, it said.
During the meet, Anandi Patel said that though Vietnam is a small country, which faced several calamities in the recent past, it showed a remarkable development and made their mark as the most rapidly developing nations in the world.
Both Patel and Xung expressed desire to increase co-operation between Vietnam and Gujarat in the field of food processing and Sugar industry.
The delegation also provided details about their earlier meeting with the officials of Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
During the meet, Patel invited the Vietnamese delegation to take part in the upcoming Vibrant Gujarat Summit-2015, which the delegation accepted.
