Villagers protest lack of amenities, boycott polling

Three villages in the Medak parliamentary constituency today partially boycotted the byelecion.
Locals at Kucharam in Toopran mandal in Gajwel assembly segment and Peddapur in Yeldurty mandal boycotted the polling protesting lack of road and transportation facility.
Gangapur village under Mulug mandal boycotted the polling as a protest against shifting of polling booth to the neighbouring village.
Polling took place at these villages only in the afternoon as officials rushed there and promised the locals to look into their grievances.
