In his verdict yesterday, the Special CBI Judge RK Choubey convicted Ramveer Rawat, a resident of Morena district, and Sushil Kumar Prajapati who hails from Aligarh district in Uttar Pradesh. He also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 each, said special public prosecutor for Vyapam, Satish Dinkar.
As per CBI, Prajapati had impersonated Rawat for the examination.
The judge found the duo guilty under section 468 (forgery for the purpose of cheating) and other sections of IPC and the Madhya Pradesh Recognised Examination Act.
