Walls of Hanuman temple lined with garlands of notes

The walls of Kashta Bhanjan Hanuman temple in Tarsali area here were today strung with garlands of currency notes.
The notes added up to Rs 11 lakh.
Devotees thronged Hanuman temples today as it is the last Saturday of the month of Shravan.
Rakesh Patel, president of Kashta Bhanjan Hanuman Mandal, said this tradition of decorating the temple with garlands of notes started three years ago.
The Mandal has installed three CCTV cameras and deployed its workers to guard the walls covered in notes, he said.
