We invite MPs from all parties for farm show: Monsanto

Global seed giant Monsanto today said that it has invited a delegation comprising media, farmers, industry representatives and Parliamentarians across political parties to attend a farm show in the US.
"A committed partner to Indian agriculture for the past five decades, Monsanto has invited a delegation comprising media, farmers, industry representatives and Parliamentarians from across political parties and states to visit the Farm Progress Show (FPS) event in the US," a company release said.
The statement follows media reports that the company has sponsored a week-long study tour of a group comprising BJP and Shiv Sena MPs for FPS, which is an annual international event.

Monsanto said it, like other companies, invites similar delegations from many other countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
