Gaya recorded maxmimum temperature of 39.3 degree celsius, while in Patna it decreased to 34 degree celsius from yesterday's 37.4 degrees. Bhagalpur recorded the maximum temperature of 34.7 degrees and Purnea 32 degrees, the met office here said.
One or two places in north east and south east parts of the state witnessed light rainfall, while the rest remained dry.
There is forecast of mainly clear sky tomorrow in Patna and Gaya, while Bhagalpur and Purnea may witness partly cloudy sky with possibility of rain or thunder tomorrow.
