Weather remains dry in UP, temperature rises

People continued to suffer in scorching heat in Uttar Pradesh, with weather remaining dry across the state.
The MeT office here said that the day temperatures changed a little across the state. They were appreciably above normal in Gorakhpur and Faizabad divisions, above normal in Varanasi and Allahabad divisions, and were normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Highest maximum temperature in the state was 43.3 degree Celsius recorded at Sultanpur.
Weather will remain dry across the state, according to a MeT department forecast.
