Wolfe's brace helps Sporting eke out a 2-2 draw

Bottom-placed Sporting Clube de Goa made a stunning comeback by slamming two goals in 13 minutes to hold local heavyweights East Bengal to a 2-2 draw in the I-League football tournament, here today.
East Bengal's top scorer Ranti Martins (30th and 60th) struck delightfully on both sides of the break to give them a 2-0 cushion.
But it was once again East Bengal's poor defence that let them down as Anthony Wolfe's brace (64th and 77th) ensured the Flaming Oranje one away point.
With four draws from nine matches, Sporting Clube de Goa who are yet to win, remained at the bottom with four points while East Bengal are on fifth with 13 from eight outings.

The Goans star recruit Odafa Okolie was brilliantly marked by the East Bengal defence but it was not enough as the visitors sneaked in two easy goals.
The Nigerian ace could not score but he nicely set up Wolfe's the two goals against the run of play.

While Martins did not miss any opportunity at the front, his striking partner Dudu was equally abysmal and wasted as many as three sitters in front of the goal something that cost the red and gold dear.
Earlier, East Bengal broke the stalemate at the halfway mark when Milan Susak set up Martins with a long ball as the Nigerian chested it down and tackled past an Sporting Clube de Goa defender to give them the lead.

East Bengal got a freekick at the edge of the box after medio Malswam Tulunga was brought down by Rojen Singh.
Martins struck a beautiful curling freekick that hit the went in before smashing the side of the inside net.
But their joy was shortlived with Wolfe's back to back goals to bring the game on level.
