An FIR was registered against a man for allegedly raping the woman on false promise of marriage in Kotwali here, they said.
The couple were in a relationship for over two years. The accused, Vinay Kumar, developed physical relation with her on the pretext of marriage, police said.
The woman later lodged an FIR in this connection, police said adding no arrest have been made so far and investigation is underway.
