Police have not recovered any suicide note from the spot.
The deceased, Laxmi, police said, was suffering from depression and was undergoing treatment at CRPF hospital for the past few months.
"The incident came to light when another woman constable residing at the CRPF women's hostel went to her room at around 1 AM on the third floor and found her hanging.
"She raised an alarm and informed others and police were informed," said the investigating officer.
A native of Rajasthan, she was inducted in CRPF in 2010 and was posted in 135 battalion of the force.
Laxmi's husband Rakesh is also in CRPF and the couple got married one year ago.
