Justice Ajit Singh and Rajendra Menon, who were here for Lok Adalat, noticed Nasim Aara hanging around during the disposal of litigations and heard her case in the veranda of the local court.
The local court issued the arrest warrant against Nasim Aara's husband Haji Ismail within an hour after the high court directions came, her counsel Ashok Kelde said.
"She (Nasim) was married to Haji Ismail who is a powerloom businessman and contractor of Burhanpur 16 years ago. He divorced her after four years of marriage after she gave birth to two daughters," Kelde said.
According to Maoism, Ismail, who is currently living with his third wife, has not given her any maintenance as decided by a court 12 years ago.
