"The woman had hidden some packets of narcotics in her body. She was sent to Osmania Hospital for surgical removal of narcotic substances sealed in sachets. Some quantity has been removed," they said.
She was sent to a government hospital after airport customs sleuths identified narcotics concealed in her body after she landed here yesterday, officials said.
A senior customs department official confirmed the development and said that the woman had arrived from Dubai.
