Aarti Devi (24), daughter of Charan Dass of Manjhi village, poured kerosene on her clothes and set herself ablaze at her house, police said, adding that she was burnt alive on the spot.
Devi worked in a mill nearby and used to give private tuition at her house after the mill hours, they said.
The cause of her committing suicide was yet to be ascertain, police said, adding that preliminary investigations revealed she was mentally upset.
