Woman molested by neighbour in Faridabad

A 32-year-old woman was allegedly molested by her neighbour here, police said today.
In a complaint filed with Faridabad police, the woman said that her husband is in prison for quite some time and she lives with her mother-in-law.
She alleged that when she had gone out of her home to dispose of garbage yesterday, Lakhan, a distant relative of her husband residing nearby, molested her.
The accused, in his late thirties, tried to tear her clothes, she alleged.
As the woman started screaming, her mother-in-law rushed to help her and Lakhan's mother too, came out of her house.
She complained that Lakhan's mother started abusing her.

The woman, a resident of village Mahavatpur here, alleged that while Lakhan molested her, his mother too abused her and supported her son in his act.
A case was registered against Lakhan with Bhupani police station under relevant sections of the IPC yesterday.
The police have started investigations in the case, investigating officer ASI Sumitra Devi said.
