Woman murdered in UP's Mahoba

A 53-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in the Charkhari police station area of Mahoba district by her brother-in-law when she was taking a bath in a river, police said on Tuesday.

Police have arrested the accused.

Mahoba SP Manilal Patidar on Tuesday said, "Premrani (53), mother of the village pradhan of Gurha village in the Charkhari police station area, died after she was attacked by her elder brother-in-law Rampal Rajput with an axe."
