Woman prisoner ends life in Jalgaon

An undertrial woman prisoner allegedly committed suicide at the sub-jail here in North Maharashtra today, an offical said.
Baijabai Rajaram Barela, a resident of Gorgaon Budruk in this dsitrict, hanged herself using her sari at about 3.30 pm in the sub-jail's toilet, Jailer Dilip Daberao said.
The 27-year-old, arrested on the charge of murdering her husband, had been mentally disturbed and was undergoing psychiatric treatment, he said.
She had been lodged in the jail since Janaury this year, Daberao added.
