Woman set ablaze by husband for opposing extra-marital affair

A woman died after she was allegedly set ablaze by her husband following an argument over his extra-marital relationship, police said today.
The incident took place in Karni Vihar area last night.
The 30-year-old woman was taken to a hospital with 80 per cent burn injuries, where she died, SHO Karni Vihar, Kanhaiya Lal, said.
"In her statement, she said her husband Rakesh poured kerosene and set her ablaze last night after an argument over his relationship with a girl," Lal said.
32-year-old Rakesh, a labourer, is on the run, he said.
