Rayees Ahmad Wagay (25) and Shabir Ahmad Rather (24), both residents of Dooru in Anantnag district, were living as tenants in the building in Shaheed Gunj locality of central Srinagar where the tragedy occurred late last evening.
While Rayees died, Shabir was critically injured and is undergoing treatment at a local hospital, a police spokesman said, adding it was not immediately clear as to what had caused the duo to fall from such a height.
