Special judge Shashikanta Vaish also imposed a fine of Rs 5,000 on Gulab.
Assistant public prosecutor Ajay Jain said, on June 15, 2015, the convict had lured the girl, a senior KG student living next door, to his house in Adhartal-Katra area and raped her.
After the crime, he told the girl not to tell about the incident to anybody.
However, the family members of the girl came to know about the incident when she returned home.
She narrated her ordeal, after which a complaint was lodged with the police.
