The incident occurred on Tuesday, when Kalpesh Gangadhar, a resident of Alibaug in neighbouring Raigad district, flashed at the girls when they were walking along roadside, said senior police inspector, Santosh Bhandare.
The girls, both residents of Hyderabad, are staying at a hostel in Bangurnagar, he said.
The girls clicked the picture of Gangadhar's motorcycle and posted it on twitter while lodging a police complaint.
The youth was tracked down yesterday on the basis of number plate of his bike.
He has been booked under relevant sections of IPC. A local court sent him in judicial custody today.
