today by two persons allegedly due to old rivalry on Delhi-Patlia National Highway in Narwana, police said here.
Pradip, a resident of More Pati in Narwana, was returning home from court on his friend's bike, when the scooty-borne assailants fired upon him from behind.
Following the attack, Pradip fell on the ground, the duo then shot on his head, leading to his death on the spot, police said.
The body has been sent for post-mortem.
Prima-facie it appears to be case of old rivalry, DSP Head Quarters, Jind, said and added that investigation in to the matter has begun.
